Tooltip popping up making drop down list hard to choose from

As you can see in this image, when the user of this sheet attempts to select a value from the dropdown in the first column, a tool tip pops up interfering with the ability to update the column. Its not stopping the update but just makes it take a little longer.

Is there any way to disable this popup? Maybe its a permissions level thing. This user has "Editor (can share)" permissions to this sheet.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could maybe change the Zoom level or text size.
