Date Column Formatting MM/DD/YYYY

We have a date column that needs the year to be 4 characters. Instead of MM/DD/YY, we need it to display: MM/DD/YYYY. Any ideas?

• Is it in a date type column?
• Have you checked the different date formats available?
• Does it need to stay as a date or could it be text?

Yes, it is in a date column and must stay as a date column - can't be text.

There seems to be date formats that are similar to what I need, but they have the weekday in it. I need something like the one with "Fri 04/27/2018" but without the "Fri".
