Vlookup or match index?
Hi there,
I'm wanting to know how to autopopulate the [Supplier Rep] column when a particular [Supplier Name] is chosen
I already have a list in a different sheet to reference from as
what would be the correct formula?

It would look something like this...
=INDEX({Other Sheet Email Column}, MATCH([Supplier Name]@row, {Other Sheet Supplier Name Column}, 0))
-
Indeed... I may sound a bit dumb, spent an hour to derive
=INDEX({Contact list Range 2}, MATCH([Supplier Name (Select)]1, {Contact list Range 1}, 0))
works now the way I want it to ... my life !

Hi @Joe Suh,
Glad you got it working!
Yes, INDEX/MATCH can take some time getting used to, but when you do it just works.
Be safe and have a fantastic week!
