Hello smartsheet!

 

Are there any plans to sign the EU-US-Privacy Shield (following Safe Harbour)?

 

Would be important in order to get more European custiomers!

Great question! Yes, Smartsheet is very concerned about the privacy of our customers and recognize the privacy obligations of those within the European Union. We are in the final stages of self-certifying with EU Privacy Shield and expect the process to be completed shortly. As soon as the certifiation is formally approved, we'll update our privacy statement at Smartsheet.com/Privacy.

Like Michael, I'd like to recommed Smartsheet to customers, especially when they use Salesforce...

Certainly. The EU Privacy Shield application has been completed. We are now anticipating completion of the self-certification within the first quarter of 2017. We will update Smartsheet.com/Privacy upon completion.

As above, we're at the end of Q1, has there been any progress made towards self-certification?

I've had to hold off a wider rollout of some functionality to our business until this is resolved.
