Im also having a issue with multiple Drop downs.

From My Metric sheet

=COUNTIFS({DEPT Resources Needed}, CONTAINS("Inventory", {DEPT Resources Needed}))

Collecting data from tear sheet

its not adding up

May I suggest :

=COUNTIF({DEPT Resources Needed}; CONTAINS("Inventory"; @cell))

Unfortunate that didn't work, still wont count the item with multiple items being checked within the drop down
