How to auto-trigger a flag?

I would like to set up a formula that automatically turns the flag icon red when a new risk is identified. What is the formula to automatically turn the flag red when a new risk - any text - is entered under the "Identified Risk" column of the same row? I attached a photo to help.

    Hi Jennifer,

    Try something like this.

    =IF([IDENTIFIED RISK]@row <> ""; 1)

The same version but with the below changes for convenience.

    =IF([IDENTIFIED RISK]@row <> "", 1)

Depending on your country/region, you'll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.

    Did that work?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!

    Best,
