Date format keeps changing to m/dd/yyyy

Hello,
The date column is set to the default mm/dd/yy format but keeps populating the m/dd/yyyy. Why is this? This just started today.
Thank you in advance

Strange!
Can you maybe share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hello,
Below is what I am seeing. The 5/20/2020 isn't even a format listed in the date format. This information is populated by a Data Mesh. The source sheet is having the same problem.
Thank you for your assistance

I'm thinking that Datamesh changes it back to the default that Datamesh use.
If you haven’t already, I would recommend that you reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team.
