Update Requests - Can You Limit The Life of a Update Request Link
Hi All -
That's really the question (in the subject line) I have. I'm wondering if there's a way to expire the Update Request we send out after 24hrs, 48hrs, etc. so that these don't live forever.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,
Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment to set an expiration time, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thinking about this a little more.
Possible workarounds.
- Locking the rows (untested)
- Moving the row out of the sheet (untested)
What do you think?
Would that help/work?

I don't think the Move Rows is what we want to do - because we want to keep them in the queue, but I think we could look into seeing if the Locking Rows works

Excellent!
Let me know how it goes!

Hi Mike and Andree,
Thanks for this discussion - it was helpful to me as I'm troubleshooting the opposite; I'm working with someone who is concerned that update requests are expiring even if the update form is closed without a submission.
I also don't know of an automated way to make update requests expire in a set amount of time, but just a note that you can delete them manually by clicking on the update request icon on the row, selecting the applicable update request, and deleting it.
