How do I change chart data in a dashboard from sheet data to summary sheet data

I am building a dashboard and initially using sheet data to build a chart. I want to add another chart to the Dashabord referencing the same sheet but this time round use the summary sheet data. I don't see an option to switch from sheet data to summary sheet data in the sheet. I only have an option to use the sheet data.

That is correct. Only sheet data can be used to build charts. Feel free to Submit a Product Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

In the meantime... You could create a hidden "helper" column that houses the Summary Fields data in the sheet itself so that it can be referenced in a chart.

You can create reports that look at the sheet(s) to build filtered and sorted chart data..

AND/OR reports that grab sheet summary data.

Each task/gantt sheet for my (700+) current projects have sheet summaries that drive dashboard graphs via reports.
