Issue with Other Sheet References

Is anyone else having issues building multiple other sheet references? It keeps backing out of the formula box when I finalize the reference. It seems to make the reference alright, but I have to type it in instead of the reference going where it should. This has always been somewhat glitchy but it seems a lot worse for me today.

I have had the problem before, but I can't remember the exact solution. I think it was a combination of Support refreshing both sheets on the back end and doing the signout/clear cookies and cache/sign-in process.

It could have also been something where I had to recreate the rang eon the source sheet, update my cross sheet references, then delete the old range. I feel like that wasn't quite it but something we tried.

When I had the issue it was any time I tried to reference a column to the right of [Random Column On Source Sheet]. I am fairly certain the back-end refresh ended up helping.
