Conditional formatting based on comparison between two dates

Good Day,

In my project. I have a Date Due column and a Planned completion date column. I would like the Planned Completion Date to turn red if it is after the Date Due, is this possible?

you could do something like this:

you can hide the overdue column using the formula.

the conditional formatting would look like this:

You are going to need to use a "helper column" to evaluate each row as @RossL has suggested. There is no way to do this strictly within Conditional Formatting.
