Use Metric Widget to Show User Selectable Single Row

I want to be able to display the data from a single row on a dashboard (see image), but I want the user to be able to select which row to display from the rows available to them. Can this be done with a metric widget or some other method?

One possible solution could be something like a checkbox column where they select which row, and use formulas in the Sheet Summary to show the record that is checked. That would then show up in the Dashboard/Metric Widget(s).

Make sense?
