Workflow has become invalid

Two workflows recently became invalid after working smoothly for months. No permission changes were made to the destination sheet and the sheet has not been deleted. But I get this error message.

Even if I try to recreate the workflow, the destination sheet does not appear as an option anymore.

I have tried everything. Please help.

I have a few questions or things to check that might cause this.

Did the destination sheet run out of rows?

Did your permission drop from being Owner/Admin on either sheet?

Did anything change on the destination sheet?

The destination sheet only has 150 rows.

I am owner on one sheet and admin on the other.

And nothing has changed on the destination sheet.

Are proofs set up on the destination sheet, does it look like below? This also causes that error

No. Proofs are not enabled.

Hmm so has anything changed on the original sheet. There has to have been a change somewhere for this to occur out of the blue. If you said nothing changed on the Destination sheet, something must have changed on the Original sheet. Based on when you noticed this started happening would you be able to look into the history for any changes that may have occurred during that time? Such as column name changes or new columns added.

I figured it out. There was one person who was an owner on one sheet but not shared to the other sheet. Didn't know this was an issue. But I shared the sheet and reset the workflow and it seemed to work!
