How can I change the Card View to show a different column?
Currently my Card View is showing my "Status" column and I would like to change it to the "Assigned to" column.

Not sure I follow!
Do you mean what it should be grouped by or what columns should show on the card itself?
I hope that helps!

Hi @Andrée Starå ,
I'm sorry, I should have clarified a bit more. I would like to change the grouping of cards. When I move the cards around, I would like it to affect my "Assigned To" column. Currently, when I move my cards around, they are affecting my "Status" column; which is incorrect. For example, I would like each column in my card view to reflect the data that I have in my "Assigned To" column. If I see that Employee X has too much task on their agenda, I would move those cards to Employee Y.
I hope that explanation makes sense. Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Johnathon Sisounthone

@Andrée Starå I have the same question - I want to pivot my cards to Assigned To, but I don't see the drop down in my selection options:
-
Hi Mary,
I was able to figure out the problem. Card View only recognizes Single Drop Down Columns. It will not recognize the Multi Drop Down Column. You would have to separate the them into separate columns that are single select. I hope my explanation helps.

I saw that John answered already!
Let me know if I can help with anything else!

OK Folks - FORGET this request below ( I don't know how to delete this comment)! I just figured it out. I cannot view by checklist what I really needed to do was use a filter to select those who checked the box on the column. Sorry to waste your time reading this!
🙄
I have a similar problem in that I wish to view cards by different columns to those shown as choices by default. There are 10 columns that Smartsheet has selected but I need some different columns.
I found a place in card view settings that appears to be a selection list that I can customize to be the columns that I want however when I customize the list to show what I want it doesn't change the view by listing. Does anyone know how to force it use my selection list (they are checkbox only columns that I am trying view) ?
thanks
Barry
