Date Formulas

Hi everyone,

I can't seem to figure out a formula to automate dates. I have a "Due Date" column and a status column. In the status column I would like to say that if it's passed the due date, the status column should say "Overdue" and if the due date hasn't been reached yet, it should say "In Progress". I've tried to use a NESTED IF statement but with no luck. perhaps someone here knows?

Should this formula exist, is it possible to still have a drop down list saying "complete" or "rescinded", without ruining the formula?

You would need to either have all options automated or manual entry. You cannot have a formula and manual entry in the same cell because manual entry overrides and deletes the formula.
