JOIN Formula from Source Sheet to Destination Sheet
Answers

You should be able to edit cells in a report so long as they don't contain a formula and are not locked.
-
They would contain a formula because they would have to be joined/concantenated first, right? Unless there's another way to consolidate the data from multiple columns when you're creating the report. . .
-
You can show the main columns that are referenced by the JOIN formula.

I started out using the JOIN formula, however, it all gets very convoluted with so many columns which is why I was trying to create the destination sheet to make it easier for the team to manage.

Maybe I am just not understanding what exactly you are trying to accomplish and why. Can you provide some details as to how the original sheet is populated and why exactly you are trying to move the data over to another sheet?

Hi @Wendy Young
As a possible workaround, you could use the copy row feature to copy the submitted row to another sheet where it can be edited because the formula will not follow.
Make sense?
Would that work?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic day!
