I have Invalid ref with this code
=COUNTIFS({Generic - Parent Row}, 0, {Generic - NA}, 0, {Generic - Status}, <>"Blue", {Generic - % Complete}, <>1, {Generic - Task Name}, <>" ", {Generic - Task State}, <>"On Hold", {Generic - Finish Date}, <$Date$1)
I have a metadata sheet that has everything in it. I dont know much about it but I am looking for start date delays & past due dates/ If needed, I can post the project plan

How are you creating your cross sheet references?
You should be clicking on the link that says "reference another sheet" in the "helper" dialog box that appears when you are typing inside of a function. Once you click on that link a new window will open that allows you to first select your sheet then select your range (click on column header to reference entire column). Then you can click on the "insert reference" button in the bottom right of that window to create the cross sheet reference.
