=[Date]@row + 7 is showing up as invalid column value

Hello Smartsheet Community!

Can someone please help me with this formula? I'm trying to calculate 7 days after my Date column, however the most common way stated in previous discussions I'm getting an #invalid column value. Please help!

Hi @Bellina Bui,

Per the Formula Error Messages Help article, the #INVALID COLUMN VALUE error message appears when a "formula contains or references a data type that is inconsistent with the column type where it is inserted." Check to make sure "Column13" in your sheet is set as a Date column by double-clicking the column header. In the Edit Column Properties window, if anything other than Date is selected, change it to Date and see if this removes the error and produces the expected date value.

With a referenced date of 09/08/20, entering =Date@row + 7 in another date column should give you a result of 09/15/20.
