Use Tableau to view Resource Views?

I know Tableau can be connected to Sheets and such. But can Tableau also be connected to Resource Views?

If anyone has experience in pulling this off, I would appreciate your lessons learned. Right now I am stuck at the most basic level (export the resource view to excel then import). I'd love to skip the manual part if it is possible but it seems like Resource Views aren't "accessible" like sheets and reports...
