How do I keep pivot tables up to date with most recent numbers?

How often to pivot tables update? Will they always have the most updated numbers? We have multiple different trackers/sheets feeding into the master sheet which we track different metrics on all sheets.

Pivots will keep update based on the frequency you have set. For instance, you can have this update every 1 hour, 1 day and 1 week, as well as other options.
