Form - Restrict input of a past date

Hi,

I am re-opening this question to know if any updates have been made since?

The question is related to the Smartsheet Form, on having an option to restrict a sender from being able to enter a past date in a form.

Related discussion open a few years ago in this question 'Web Form - Disallow Past Dates?'.

Unfortunately, it's still not possible, but it's an excellent idea!

Edit. Maybe it is by using the Conditional Logic.?

As a possible workaround, you could use the logic to trigger when the date is before today and then show another column with a message that they need to select another date.

Make sense?

I added it, it provides a good way to capture the attention of the requester on this element.

@Andrée Starå if I understand you correct. Create another column called "Date Error". In this column add the formula to show an error when the date is before today (if date1<today,Ërror message",""). Display this column on the form.

I have a pro license, and when doing this the field on the form is blank.
