Column formulas
Can I assign a formula to an entire column so I don't have to keep copying the formula to the next row?

Our Product Team implemented your Enhancement Request! This week we released Column Formulas, where you can set one formula for the entire column.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment to have your vote added
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

@Genevieve P Very cool! Unfortunately I haven't been able to upgrade most of my formula-using columns to the new format because of its limited functionality. Where do I send feedback?
My main issue is that sometimes I need to override a cell's formula with a manual entry. Once a "column formula" is used the whole row is LOCKED to that formula, no manual overrides. Thus I end up still needing to use the classic drag formula down method and also keep 3 blank locked rows at the top of the sheet so new form entries pick up the formula.

It's good to hear about your use-case and why column formulas aren't the best solution in this instance. You can provide feedback through the form that Andrée linked above, here.
Thank you!
