Automatically Counting All Drop Down Choices

Hi,

I have a drop down column with different names and this across multiple sheets. I would like to be able to know at all times how many times these names appear across in my rows across the sheets, and if a name appears more than say 65 times, be alerted. I have a sheet summary that leads back into a report currently, but hope that there is a formula that can automatically go through all the names before I have to input them one by one on the sheet summary.

Or if there is an even better solution than the summary sheet since I am new to smartsheet, please do let me know!

I’d recommend creating what I call a Master Metric Sheet where you collect all the metrics, and then you can use that for the alerts.

Make sense?
