Filter data on dashboard report

Hello! I have a report listing application statuses (approved, in process, declined) and agreement statuses (executed, in process, canceled) as a widget on my dashboard, and one of team members would like the ability filter by status. Is this something possible to do?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could use a form to select the filter and then update the Dashboard, and then it would show with the filter applied.

For it to work, you'd need to add a couple of helper columns.

I have submitted an enhancement request for this and I've asked my coworkers to do the same. @Andrée Starå can you elaborate on the workaround, please?
