I am having the same difficulty. So far, SmartSheet is not impressing me, seeing how long this thread has been going on, with no foreseeable solution.

@SamuelBuchanan I find this to be an intermittent issue. It peaks its head every few months for a week or two then goes away for several more months.

I figured out that the problem with was Edge. I finally just opened it in Firefox and Control+V, Control+C worked just fine for me.

I use Microsoft Edge and Ctrl C and Ctrl V work for me.

I'm trying to copy from an exel file into smartsheet - I used to be able to do this and now nothing works.

Copy/Paste from menu will not work in most cases. You will need to use Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V

Having the same issue with the control C/V and the mouse functions. How has this issue not been solved after all these complaints over the years?

Anyone know of a solution? I am having the same issue. ctrl-c from smartsheet works to ctrl-p to notepad but not in smartsheet. Right clicking copy and paste doesn't work either - very frustrating.

Any information here? I'm new to Smartsheet, and I've found that it generally takes multiple attempts to successfully copy a value. It's very frustrating and could easily result in accidentally pasting the wrong value.
