Hey Levett,
Thanks for posting. It sounds like you are looking for a "hoteling" template which can be used to schedule desk space. I did a quick search around our templates and found, Event Staff Hotel & Passes Template, being the closest to what you are looking for.
In reviewing the Template, it gave me a good idea of what the "flow" of this action may look like. I've noted a few ideas below on how you could utilize Smartsheet Functionality to create a proper Hoteling Template Set:
- You may separate Available Spaces and Unavailable Spaces in separate Sheets, then pull them both into a Report for ease of viewing and data editing.
- By using the Automation Workflow: Move Row feature, you can dynamically move Available/Unavailable Spaces between Sheets as they become open or reserved.
- I would also consider creating a Time-Based Automated Workflow to set reminders for these reservations.
