Only Want Report Data Exported to Excel

I've created a report in smartsheet, and now want to export into excel. However, ALL of the original data from the master data sheet in smartsheet comes over. Eek! How do I only export the data in the Report? Thx, Becky

Are you exporting from the report? This feature works for me. Do you have extra columns on the report that are "Hidden"? If so, you'll need to turn those columns off from the report builder.

• Click on Report Builder (blue notebook)
• Click 'Columns'
• Uncheck the columns you don't want to see
• Click 'Close'
• Click 'Run'
• Try your export again

Thanks M. I am exporting from the Report. I dont have anything hidden. I built the report on only the columns I needed. I just cant seem to export the report - i.e. just the report data- into excel. It ALL comes in, from the master data that I built the report from. If that makes sense....

Can you maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) + reports? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

I'm curious if this was resolved. I too have a report that is only 100 lines, but exporting to excel exports the 5k + lines from the source sheet.

Can you post screen captures of what you're seeing? (But block out sensitive data)
