Auto-populate field in a form

I am trying to get a form to auto-populate a date once a field is entered is this possible?

I would utilize the system generated column type and select the created option. this would not be in the form but when it is submitted the date and time will be added.

We need it to populate in the form so the person would see the date to attend

I as well have had several instances where I needed the Auto-generated number to be on the email the user that input the information would get. I read historical posts and it is the chicken or the egg. The issue is the row doesn't exist until submitted, so therefore the auto-generated number doesn't exist until the information is submitted. Therefore can't add to the form as it doesn't exist and so on and so forth. Would love this to be an option though!!!
