Conditional formatting not being pulled through linked cell?

I have a sheet with some numbers that are colour coded using conditional formatting. I am referencing these cells on another sheet via Linked Cells. However the conditional formatting is not being pulled through to the second sheet, instead it's just showing the numbers in plain font.

I've got conditional formatting to work through a Metric on a dashboard very well. But for some reason it doesn't seem to work on Grids.

Is there a solution to getting this to work?

Unfortunately, you’ll need to replicate the same conditional formatting rules in the other sheet as well for it to work.

Ah I see!

It would be very difficult as it's a 'summary sheet' of many different measures with different conditional formatting for each individual cell.

I don't think it's possible to have conditional formatting for an individual cell is it?

Ok.

It's possible to use conditional formatting for one cell, but there has to be something unique to use to set it up.

Would that work?
