COUNTIF formula help

Hi,

I'm working on converting qualitative data into quantitative figures which are also dependent on whether there was a positive or negative closed answer. However, there are a couple of positive answers with partial negative responses. I need to do a countifs that captures a specific answer in one column and disregards a specific phrase in another column!

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Are you able to show give me an example please here so that I can see what you are after?

I have a number of If Statements that I have used and you may be able to use that structure.
