Document Builder - Date format

Hello all

I've been playing with the Document Builder for a couple of different forms today. So far it appears that the ONLY date format that will generate is MM/DD/YY.

I have tried formatting the date cell(s) in the PDF form to:

MM/DD/YYYY (10/15/2020)

mmmmm d, yyyy (October 15, 2020)

I have tried changing the date column format in Smartsheet to:

MM/DD/YYYY

October 15, 2020

Nothing works. No matter what format I try, where I try it, the ONLY format I get on the finished document is:

10/15/20

What's the deal?

I'm not seeing anything in the current documentation from the Learning Center pertaining to the behavior and formatting for date fields with Document Builder:

I can see that you've reached out to our Support Team on this and they will be the best resource for determining expected behavior.
