Day Countdown workaround

Hello,

We have put a day countdown clock on our dashboard using the today formula. However, when you open the dashboard the countdown does not automatically update how many days left unless you click on the sheet to make it active. Has anyone found a work around for this? Or is there another way to make the countdown days automatically populate on the dashboard?

Hi @Amanda F,

What I've learned recently (from support) is that the TODAY function doesn't automatically update without opening or updating the sheet where the function is located.

I'm just now looking into if there are workarounds but it's not looking promising. There was an enhancement request but it looks as if it was sent in in 2017.

I'll be interested if anyone else has an alternative way of dealing with this.
