Dependency
I am creating a project plan that is driven by the final deliverable date. For example, the final deliverable date is 4/1/2021. The first step needs to start 82 days prior to the final deliverable date, the 2nd step starts 75 days prior to the final delvierable, etc.,. Is there an easy way to create the plan using this format?
Thanks

Hi.
If you are using dependencies and predecessors you can enter the row number of the final delivery date as a predeseccor and add extra data to it to move the date.
If the delivery date is on row 5, enter "5SS - 82d" in the predecessor cell of the first step. This will make the start date of first step 82 days before the start date of the final delivery date.
You can use SS, SF and FF where S = Start and F = Finish. (FS is the default dependency) Add or subtract days from this date by putting on + or - (x)d after, or don't put anything to have a direct dependency without offsets.
Hope this helps you out!
