Please Help

I'm trying to use the function key to set up a formula to calculate the no. of days between start and end dates.

=NETWORKDAYS([End Date]11, [Start Date]3)

I get:

#DATE EXPECTED

if I then try "convert to column formula" I'm prompted that the Syntax isn't right.

The column with the formula has to be a Text/Number column for it to work.

Thanks yes that worked, text/number column. great

NETWORKDAYS ([start date]3,[end date]11) /7

One more question if that's ok. the answer is including the holidays if i try:

NETWORKDAYS ([start date]3,[end date]11,[holidays]) /7

im getting #UNPARSEABLE

ANY IDEAS?

Regarding the holidays. You'll have to add the specific dates.

More info.

NETWORKDAYS( start_date end_date [ holidays ])

• start_date — The first date to be measured.
• end_date — The last date to be measured.
• holidays —[optional] The dates to exclude from the count.
