I would like to include a link to the smartsheet in my update request workflow, but I cant see how to do it. The help text seems to indicate that the sheet link will be included in the message/update form, but it is not. See screenshots
Hello Sam
You may find the link to the sheet in the footer of the update email but you have to be looking for it. You can embed the url to the sheet in the update message. Copy the url of the sheet and paste it into the message body - it might appear only as straight text when you paste it but it will be an active link when received.
thanks @KDM - that worked!
I would like to suppress the sheet reference in the footer of the update request - often the recipient of the Update Request email doesn't have access/need to the sheet. I did not see a way to indicate message only like you can do with other automations.
Am I missing the setting ?
Thanks
Like Sheryl P I would like to suppress the link to the sheet in the footer of an update request. How can that be done? Thanks.
if the user has access only to the report from the sheet, with limited access.
from the update request Go to the sheet , it should go to the view of the report with access for that user only.
but its going to the actual sheet..
how to include the link of the report only?
Hi @alishah730
There currently isn't a way to remove the "Go to the sheet" hyperlink at the bottom, however only users with sharing permissions on the sheet will see any content from that link.
Please feel free to add your vote and voice on this Product Ideas thread: Remove GO to sheet option
Thank you!

I have a monthly report I send out that has a long list of recipients. I know I can edit the recurrence of it being sent, but does anyone know of an easy way to just add or take out people that get my email without having to recreate the whole thing?
We would like to allow conference attendees to check themselves in using tablets at the conference center. I know there is a "find in sheet" magnifying glass in table view, but it is not super obvious, especially for non-Smartsheet users. Is there a better way for them to easily find their row among all the attendees so…
Hi! We have a sheet where team members are triggered to complete an Update Request when a line is assigned to them, which of course includes its own messaging. We also have a separate automation which sends out a weekly 'reminder' email for all assigned lines which have not been updated to a 'completed' status. My question…
