Ignoring Duplicates

Hi

I added this data mesh to add inspection number based on date of inspection. Now we are getting two inspection for same building(in two different months) , but formula still using the initial month to formulate the Inspection number. is there any other way to ignore that, or am I doing anything wrong?

Would it be possible to show more screen captures of your set up and sheets? (But please block out any sensitive data).

It would be really helpful to see an image of the source sheet & the target sheet, identifying what is not being updated or added in. It would also be helpful to see how this Data Mesh is actually configured (tabs 3, 4, and 5 in the configuration).
