Is it possible to tweak COUNTIF to count everything but a certain criteria?
Here's my function that works when conditions are met:
=COUNTIFS(Name:Name, CONTAINS("Open", @cell), Location:Location, "TBD")
How can I adjust this so that it works when I want it to count cells where locaton isn't "TBD" -- putting in all the options of possible matches isn't feasible.
I've tried the NOT funtion, but must not be using it correctly as I keep getting errors.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

This should work:
=COUNTIFS(Name:Name, CONTAINS("Open", @cell), Location:Location, <>"TBD")

it sure does! I swear I'd tried that, but must have missed something. Much appreciated, Nic!
