Is it possible to add weightage in Smartsheet?

As part of my requirement, under my Survey, i have questions with list of choices. So i would like to pre-configure the weightage to these choices so that, once the end user selects a value, it should automatically populate the weightage in another table. Which should be later used for reporting purpose (if possible within Smartsheet).

Example: Question1 has 4 options i.e. A (10), B (6), C (3) & D (0). If the end user while filling up the survey questions, for question A, selects B as answer, then in the backend it should add the weightage for that questions as 6 in may be another table.

Same way, i have many questions under a section. So, these weightage should roll/add up to the section.

Any suggestion/leads are truly appreciated.

There is the weighted average formula.

or you could use a helper column with a stacked conditional statement, or a group of countifs multiplying by the weights and added together.
