Connection error to Smartsheet

Attempting to link cells to another sheet. I've done this thousands of time but first time I've seen this. Has anyone received this error?
Yes, our internet connection is working fine.
Yes, I have sent this to Smartsheet support so should get a response next Tuesday or Wednesday.

There are no incidents reported on the Status page from the 12th, which indicates this error may be either specific to your sheets, browser, or network. If you're already working with Support on this, I would continue the conversation there as you'll be able to share private information (such as screen captures, sheet names, troubleshooting steps, etc) one-on-one.
