Converted row formula to column, now can't edit

Hi,

I am the OWNER of the sheet in which I am trying to edit a column formula. BUt it won't let me. When I hover over 'Fx' it shows the formula - ineditable - and says "Only sheet owners and admins can edit column formulas". Help!

You’ll have to right-click and select the Edit Column Formula as below in the screenshot.

Hi, Andree, thanks for replying. I do not see that option when I right click in the column. I've attached what I am seeing, which does not include a choice to edit the formula.

You right clicked on the column at the top,

you need to right click when hovering over the cell.

and click Edit/Convert to column formula, or convert to cell formula.

AHah! The column was locked. I don't know how, but it was. SOrry for all the pestering, problem solved. And THANK YOU!
