Input Form?

Is there a way to use a form to create and/or edit a records in a Smartsheet like what is used in many databases for data input?

    Yes, one can use Forms to create records. You can find information on Smartsheet Forms here

    Once a row is created, a row can be edited using a Request Update. Request Updates can be triggered manually or can be part of an automated smartsheet workflow. You can find information on Update Request here

  • Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    I was of the mistaken impression that Form was designed to extract info from a sheet.

    It works great for input new records, but we cannot “Find” and “Edit” an existing record with forms, one of the features we were hoping for.

    Well, we cannot have everything.
