Dependency SS not working?
I don't know what I'm missing here, but in this very straightforward example, I want my 2nd line to be the same dates/duration of the first line. I typed in "3SS" in dependency, like I normally do, and it's not working. It should be the same dates - 1/4-2/5/2, it shouldn't be lagging. What am I missing?

I presume that the first child ("Development & QA") is row 3, and that this is what you're basing the dependency on, is that correct?
If so, I'm unable to replicate what you're seeing on my standard project sheet. I would double check your Project Settings to make sure that the correct weekend days are set for this sheet, just in case it thinks Mondays and Tuesdays are holidays (and therefore the next row would start on the next Working Day).
If that's not the cause, you may want to reach out to Smartsheet Support so you can share with them more information and a larger screen capture (including your whole sheet, sheet name, and a screen capture of your project settings) so that they can troubleshoot this further with you.
Cheers!
