Good afternoon

On some of my sheets, I am able to move around items in calendar view and in others, I am not. I don't understand why and it would be helpful I could fix this so I can move data in my calendar view and some of my resources prefer working in the Calendar view.

    Hi @BESP10

Can you check the Permissions that you have on the sheets where you're unable to move data around? If you are just a Viewer you will be unable to move around data as that would be editing the row.

Additionally, there are two times that the drag functionality in Calendar View is not available:

    • if you're looking at the calendar from a Report versus from a sheet
    • If you're using Project Settings with Dependencies enabled, and the row is a parent row (any row with sub-tasks indented underneath)

You can read more about this in our Calendar View Help Center article, here, under "Edit Row Information".

    Cheers!

    Thank you @Genevieve P

I have the parent row unchecked so it does not show up on the calendar. I do have depenedencies enabled though one the one that is not moving and that is why I think . Thank you for clarification
