Default value from the dropdown list

Hi Everyone!

Here I have a dropdown list of a markup values, how can I set the default value to [15%] whenever I add a new row without the need to do it manually?

Also, when the user chooses the Custom Markup option, can I make it in a way that the user enters a specific value after choosing the custom markup option? ( I don't want to fill it in another column )

Have you considered using a form to populate the new rows?

You can set default values in a form.

Would that work for you?

Yes I know this option but I don't want to fill them using a form. I want to fill them directly in the sheet.
