Get color of a cell

I'd like to get the color of a cell and set a numeric value in another cell. Is cell color an attribute?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

As a possible workaround, you could maybe add a so-called helper column to change the color with conditional formatting, and then it would be possible to use it in a formula.
