I've not seen any updates that Smartsheet have dynamic dropdown lists as of yet. But it depends on the interpretation of "dynamic dropdown". Smartsheet have conditional form logic that will show/hide elements of your forms based on dropdown list choices within the filling in of the form. This could be considered as dynamic.

SBP apps mentioned in the thread above are add-ins and are purchased on an annual basis. The Smarter Dropdown List manager allows you to centrally define the values for dropdown list properties from a central source and have that fluid list of values being pushed out to multiple columns across multiple sheets on a regularly recurring loop.

We also have Smarter Forms that adjust the values in dropdown list 2 based on the answer in dropdown list 1. This is my interpretation of "dynamic dropdown lists"! This again is an add-on but overcomes a current gap in Smartsheet's functionality.
