Is there a way to make reports on a dashboard interactive?

I would love to be able to check off items in a report directly in my dashboards, without being redirected to the source report or sheet.

I cannot see how to do this - is it possible?

Currently we can only publish and share view access for reports in a dashboard. I think this feature would be great since we have the ability to publish and allow for editing within a sheet. I plan to submit a product enhancement request for this myself.

You can select "Advanced Options" when adding your report to the Dashboard and select "Open a Smartsheet Item" when a widget is clicked on. This helps to minimize the need to navigate to your favorites and saves me some clicks through the process so it's easy to navigate between my dashboard view and the report that I may need to update.

Thanks @Sandra Guzman, this is as I suspected. I find it frustrating to be navigated away from the dashboard at all! I'll submit a product enhancement request also.

Would be a great feature - To allow a user to interface with a report would be powerful as a data entry tool versus having users work through forms. Forms seem very basic logic is basic. We need more SMARTSHEET. Is there a place to show the product enhancements requests by pareto and what has actually been introduced this year? 2022.

I just submitted an enhancement request for the same issue. Being able to interact with the report on the dashboard using the reports filters would be more efficient. I could see the dev's might not want to tackle this as the report could end up looking crowded fast.
