Reports not updating, sheets not updating

HI, for the past 24 hours nobody in our team has been able to get reports to update. We've tried all the normal things, saving, refreshing, changing owner/admin/editor settings and nothing will make the reports to reflect the sheets that feed into it. This is becoming a real problem that affects the whole company, could someone address this issue, as apparently, this is not uncommon to happen in Smartsheets? We'd like to get an idea of how often these types of issues are happening, and of course how to fix them.
