cell date recorded when adjacent cell status changes

i am wanting to capture the date when the status of a cell changes. is this possible? if so how do i do this?

There is not currently a way to do this based on the editing of a particular cell. Some users have used the modified date column type - but that date will update based on any editing in the entire row, rather than a specific cell. This is a highly requested feature, please contact support and request it!
