How can a non licensed user have the ability to filter information other than within a sheet?

I am looking to have multiple users have the ability to filter/sort information (without saving a filter/sort) within a report. Another option would be to save a filter/sort/grouping as a licensed user but have those users have the ability to choose a saved filter/grouping filter. Is there an add on that can be purchased? If not is there an enhancement that is coming that will include a feature like the one described.
